FFT works primarily with 11- to 17-year-old youth who have been referred for behavioral or emotional problems, including but not limited to acting out in home or in school, psychiatric hospitalizations, disruptions in mood, family conflicts, and much more! Services can be delivered in-home, in-office, or in community. Sessions are free to families of 11-17 year olds that reside in Orange county, as well as Osceola and Brevard, Jacksonville, Hillsborough, Gainesville, and Volusia counties.

In addition to Family therapy, we also offer our S.T.R.I.V.E. Program.
S.T.R.I.V.E. offers enhanced family stabilization services are designed to complement case management services by providing intensive in-home family engagement through supportive and therapeutic services, in order to successfully prevent removal and/or reunite children with their families. Through intensive, in-home services, BAYS will oversee the transition of children who have entered the Child Welfare System in Orange, Volusia, and St. Johns counties, and who are dually involved, or at risk of becoming involved, in the Juvenile Delinquency System. Services are designed to partner with the family and implement preventive measures to strengthen and stabilize the family. Families who qualify for S.T.R.I.V.E. services include children who are involved, or are at risk of becoming involved, in the Juvenile Justice and/or Child Welfare systems, children who engage in disruptive behaviors and/or who are experiencing emotional challenges. BAYS will serve each family for approximately ninety (90) to one hundred twenty (120) days, in order to provide pre-reunification intervention, effective and therapeutic services and supports, and crisis intervention/stabilization that will enable families to effectively care for children placed in their homes with the goal of strengthening and maintaining permanency. Additional days of intensive services can be provided to the family after the child is returned home in order to ensure all needed supports are in place and the child can remain safely in the home.

Occupational Outlook Handbook

“The Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH) is a career resource offering information on the hundreds of occupations that provide most of jobs in the United States. Each occupational profile describes the typical duties performed by the occupation, the work environment of that occupation, the typical education and training needed to enter the occupation, the median pay for workers in the occupation, and the job outlook over the coming decade for that occupation. Each profile is in a standard format that makes it easy to compare occupations, such as by projected employment change.”
